Do you offer re-writes/renos of current natural health and natural foods copy?
Yes, I call this: “copy doctoring” for eBooks or promotions, and “SEO editing” for web copy.
For SEO campaigns, keyphrase editing generally only works for internal webpages, while main pages (such as the Homepage) should usually be re-written entirely for maximum benefit.
Give me a call and we can set up a time to review.
Q: Do you charge by the hour or by the project?
A: I charge by the project. This includes all communication between myself and the client (via phone or email), concepting, researching, writing, revisions, and the final copy.
No surprises, just one clear flat fee.
Q: Do you offer blogging packages?
A: Yes, I encourage them! Every successful natural health blogging campaign depends on a regular, consistent posting rhythm.
Pricing is determined by length, amount of research required, and number of posts per month.
Please contact me so we can discuss your needs and draw up a custom quote.
Q: How do you invoice for your natural health copywriting and content marketing services?
A: For copywriting, I invoice 50% upfront and 50% upon project completion. Retainer projects, such as blogging, social media content, or eNewsletters, are billed monthly.
Please see the pricing page for more details or contact me for a custom quote.
Q: Do you guarantee results?
A: I guarantee you will be satisfied with your copy until it has been distributed or “goes live”. Unfortunately, no copywriter can guarantee results passed that point due to the many factors beyond our control, such as pricing, email or mailing lists, competition, launch strategy, major events, demand, customer preferences, etc.
Q: Is all your nutritional supplement copywriting and content marketing DSHEA compliant?
A: I am trained and have years of experience writing under DSHEA and FTC guidelines. However, each client may choose to interpret labeling and advertising laws a little differently in relation to their product or service. Some like to push the envelope, others stay conservative.
As stated in my contract, I always strive to uphold the client’s vision for DSHEA compliance, but I am not a legal expert and cannot provide legal advice.
Therefore, I always recommend the client have their copy and content reviewed by legal counsel before being distributed, published, or posted.

Q: Do you use AI to help you write articles?
A: No. The main reason is: why I would use artificial intelligence to craft copy or content meant to connect with and stimulate a living person’s deepest emotions? It just doesn’t make sense. Plus, AI doesn’t write very accurate health articles, doesn’t have my experience and knowledge in this field, and has no idea what the people reading care about. In my opinion, it is unethical to charge professional fees for AI-crafted writing.
I understand other writers use AI as an assistant, and I do use Grammarly to help with self-editing, but other than that, it’s all me. My husband (a master herbalist and natural product formulator) also helps with research.
Q: How many rewrites are included in a project?
A: Rewrites are included in your quoted price. Generally clients are thrilled with the first draft, and more than one re-write is rare, but rest assured I will tweak it until it exceeds your expectations.
Q: Do you write all the copy yourself, or do you use other copywriters?
A: Unless I specify otherwise, all your copy/content is written by me.
Q: Will you take rush jobs?
A: I’m happy to accommodate rush jobs if my workload permits. I may charge a “rush fee” depending on the scope of the project. Please contact me, and we can make a plan.
Q: If I hire you as a ghost health writer or blogger, how do you protect my confidentiality?
A: On principle, I never reveal my ghostwriting clients’ identities. Not only is it unethical, but I wouldn’t remain a respected ghostwriter for long if I did.
For additional peace of mind, I am always willing to sign a confidentiality agreement provided by the client.
Q: What types of companies do you work with?
A: I like to keep a nice balance of solopreneurs, small businesses, and mid-size to larger companies who are dedicated to helping people and the planet versus just making a profit.
I’m not the cheapest writer out there (hence why you won’t find me on project bidding sites), but I do understand the industry and clientele better than most, which saves clients time and money in the long run.
So, if you’re wondering if I’ll work with an individual or start-up versus a big established company, the answer is yes, provided we are a good fit.
Q: Do you offer mentorship for new writers?
A: I do this on a very limited basis for those who are serious about writing. Please contact me to start a conversation.
Q: What is your personal health philosophy?
A: Being a health-conscious person since I was born, I’ve gone through a lot of phases.
I’ve also experienced and witnessed how some people can thrive and heal following a particular philosophy or diet while others get worse.
I’ve watched extremely health-conscious people become very ill while watching processed food addicts live long and fruitful lives.
This experience has driven home the point that there is not one perfect health philosophy, diet, exercise program, etc. for everyone.
So, I don’t ascribe to one specific health philosophy anymore.
These days our main health goals are to live a low-tox lifestyle all around (food, home, water, air, dental, mental/emotional well-being), grow more and more of our own food, eat a plant-based diet with a balanced amount of various proteins, avoid heavy metals as much as possible, exercise, get sunlight, sleep enough (always working on that one!), always use herbs, homeopathy, and nutrition first for health issues, and manage stress creatively.
